About 
Big Timber is a 5 bedroom 7 full baths – 3 ½ baths Poolside Bunk/Party Room - 3 level lakefront decks overlooking Lake LBJ with 250 feet of waterfront perfect for swimming or fishing off the pier.  Along the waterfront you have a small sandy beach area perfect for lounging and small kids.  Also, there are three jetski ramps, boat parking in a cove & a rope swing.  

The back patio has a lagoon pool with negative edge, diving rock, slide, waterfalls, kiddie wading area, covered deck with turf grass, swings, loungers, picnic tables, large entertainment space.  

Inside you will have plenty of room to host your family & friends.  The home is equipped with surround sound, IPOD dock, Theater room, laundry room, large gourmet kitchen with a lake view & a wine chiller.  

Big Timber is located on Log Country Cove property and is managed by Log Country Cove with 20+ years of five star hospitality in the Kingsland area.

  The lodge was absolutely awesome. Everything was very clean and was well stocked with items. The decks, fire pits, pool area are like a resort.
  We did struggle with turning on some lights, tv’s in bedrooms.. we aren’t that tech savvy! lol. The only other issue was with the rain.. the roof did leak into two of the bedrooms and made the beds wet and dripped on sleeping guests. Otherwise.. great vacation choice!!

Additionally, there was amazing gathering spaces to interact with others. From the great room to incredible pool, we were fully entertained with the home itself for the weekend.   We stayed at Big Timber for several days in March. It was our first time traveling since Covid pandemic and it did not disappoint. We had 15 total people in our group and we could have easily fit more at Big Timber without feeling crowded. The house was amazing. It was like its own little resort and right on the lake. The views were absolutely breathtaking. The house was stocked better than we had imagined and had anything we could possible need to feel comfortable. The pool was so much fun for the kids and adults. The property was very clean and ran smoothly. If any little issue came up (which nothing of big importance did just minor things and really more so questions on how to work things at the house), the owners responded and helped us immediately. I would definitely come back and would highly recommend staying at Big Timber if you have a larger family.

  This place is Amazing! Everything is there for your fun and enjoyment ~ they have jet skis and pontoon boats to rent ~ the kids and the adults loved the pool with the waterfalls and jumping platform from the 2nd story ~ Rope Swing in the lake - Volleyball, ~ huge media room where the kids put on a play for us ~ the house is an architectural beauty with so many custom features throughout ~ We were in awe just touring the inside ~ So much space and each suite was amazing ~ The kitchen was great for preparing meals and there was plenty of seating inside/out ~The kids loved their "Bunk" house with a kitchen/ping pong and a pool table right outside on patio ~ Even though the temperature was warm in July there is a lot of covered patio ~ The water was always refreshing and there were misters ~ One of my favorite times was early morning with adults meeting out on dock for coffee while kids were still asleep.... and the evenings sitting on upper patio watching sunsets ~ It was a special time for all of us ~ The owners and their staff were so wonderful to us ~ We all hated to Leave! Good Memories! I would highly recommend Big Timber

  We stayed at the Big Timber from Sunday to Thursday. There were 15 of us. 9 adults and 6 children. We all had our own space. The pool and the lake were awesome. The kids never ran out of stuff to do.The house was absolutely gorgeous and so clean. Everyone agreed that this was "THE BEST FAMILY VACATION EVER!!!" We plan on coming back again and again!!
