  We stayed at Rockin J for a big family get-together that was held at a different cabin. The bed we used in the downstairs master was very comfy, the kitchen very accommodating and we enjoyed the jacuzzi tub.
  
  We had some issues with the outside Spa, keeping it warm and running with the jets. After the second night of trying it, we just got in without running the jets and it was nice an warm and relaxing.
  
  The reclining couches are super nice too. We didn't get a chance to use other amenities, but everything appeared to be in good working order.

  I cannot think of a better way to start the summer than the week we spent at the Rockin' J. The property was super clean, big enough for our group of 12, and tons to do at the house. The trip to the waterfront is two minutes by car and a ten minute walk. The weekend was busy by the water but during the week, there were very few people around. The pizza from Angel's was great and golf at Legends was a great combination of scenery and challenge. It was a great family vacation and we will definitely be staying at Log Country Cove again!

  The home was as we expected. Beds were comfortable and plenty of space. Two problems we encountered was the TV had no instructions and we rented a video to watch that we struggled with getting to work. The controls on the hot tub were also sensitive but they did warn about that - you had to wait between attempts to start it up. The property location is right in the middle of everything you would want from Austin to San Antonio to Fredericksburg.

  The house was overall nice with lots of games for families to enjoy. Some of the items that should have been there (like dishwasher soap, plenty of silverware for guests) were not. We did not realize that management would supply these for us until the last day. The upstairs bathrooms were not real clean-floors look dirty, as was the bathmat in one bathroom. Some cobwebs and dust. The management of Log Country Cove are wonderful. They responded quickly when asked about needs.

  Spent the weekend in Hill Country with the family and we rented the Rockin J Cabin at Log Country Cove, everyone had a great time! The cabin was very cozy and there were so many activities and little games spread out for each age group we had. Everyone really enjoyed the pool table at the front of the cabin, and we also loved sitting outside near the fire at night. We loved walking the trails and also enjoyed the area next to the lake with swings and nice scenery. My only recommendation is that they put better lighting in front of the house where the pool table and foosball is, at night it gets very dark and we couldn't see the foosball table, we had to use our phone's flash. Other than that, it was a great place to stay for the weekend with beautiful scenery!

Dust on logs and different items, even spider webs around fireplace. In the upper level, twin beds we found color pencils and other items under night stands. Overall we had a very good experience.

  Overall we enjoyed our stay. Now we have visited we know our next visit to
  LCC would be closer to the amenities - maybe even on the water. The home we chose was good. The ac needs to be evaluated. It was too cold upstairs and warm down stairs. The downstairs thermostat was set on 70 and it never got below 78. The WiFi was spotty or non existent. the cleaning crew needs to vacuum under the furniture. That area was filthy. There was no green grass - the sprinkler system was not working. We experienced dry dirt and grassburrs.

    Ed, Thank you for the review. We have fixed the AC problem and WiFi. Please note, we do have a maintenance guy on call 24/7 to take care of issues. Please call us during your stay next time so we can get these issues fixed. I will talk to the cleaning crew about the cleanliness of the cabin. We have been installing city water and they have broke several water lines in the process. This has taxed our water system so we have turn the systems down. We plan to have it fixed soon.     Ed: We are so happy that you did enjoy your stay. I am so very sorry for the issues that you experienced. When you all visit us again and have ac issues please give us a call and we send someone right up to take care of the problem. Because of our country location we do our very best to provide WiFi and we do experience spotty service sometimes even down here at the office. As for the landscape we are experiencing at this time a drought (we all are praying for rain soon). As I'm sure you noticed on your visit we are in the process of obtaining water from Kingsland Water. We are having to monitor our water usage until everything is connected in order to insure all of our properties have enough water for our guest. Unfortunately, running sprinklers to water yards has been reduced quite a bit. I will be sure to make sure to let the cleaning crew know about your concerns. We do hope to have you all join us again in the very near future.

  Rockin J is perfect. Plenty of space for 8 adults and 6 young kids. We can gather in the kitchen with no problem. Plenty of room to sleep. Pool area is lovely. Log Country Cove is perfect for us. We’ve stayed in Rockin’ J for 3 years. It’s quiet and secluded!

  My family and I loved staying here!! This is exactly the mini vacation that we needed. The place was absolutely beautiful. Just like the pictures online. The only negative thing I would say is I wish the wifi was stronger there. Most of my family has Tmobile so we had no service. Luckily my husband and brother have Verizon, so we were able to work and do the kids schooling through their mobile hotspot. BUT... other than that we are definitely going back.

  We needed a weekend get away and this was the answer. The property is well maintained and clean. We made so many memories with our 4 grandkids, added 2-7. Both children, adults, agreed this was a weekend to remember.
  They are located right on the Colorado River and gave a boat ramp to launch your craft. They also rent pontoon boats and gave a lot of water equipment.
  We will be back and highly recommend anyone to stay there.

  We had a great time. We had 12 ladies for 2 nights. The kitchen and living area were great for a large group. There were plenty of bathrooms, blankets, etc. It was quite comfortable. It worked out fine, but two of the single beds are roll-aways, better suited for kiddos. Super-comfortably, it sleeps 10 adults plus children.
