  Such a great place for our family to gather! The owners are wonderful and kind people! The tree house is in a fantastic location. I do suggest that a few repairs be made: the ceiling fan outside of the master bedroom is half broken and bangs into the house when the wind blows and is very loud. And the sink drains need to be worked on so they drain well. And lastly - the kitchen could use another spatula - there is only a flimsy plastic one that doesn't work super great. But...I would come back here in a Texas heartbeat! It was BEAUTIFUL and a BLASt! I especially appreciated that the paddle boards and canoes are free!

  What an amazing place! Invited to a wedding on the property and was not prepared for the pure beauty of the place. The Tree House was awesome, spacious, clean, and had everything we needed. The grounds were the same. Spent 3 days getting back to just the true beauty of nature. So peaceful and pure. At the Tree House, we were excited to share our outdoor area with a family of deer, who visited daily. Absolutely majestic!

I would only say be cautious on the putting green where there is not a fence. My brother stepped back into air and fell off. Luckily he was not seriously injured.   Excellent vaca; even in the event of A/C troubles at the Treehouse. Management tried to resolve the busted A/C themselves at 10pm, which they did but the troubles resumed the next day, then LCC called in A/C techs which fixed the A/C issues for good. Well done and certainly minimal interruption. Friendly staff, great property, lots to do for adults and kiddos! We certainly will come again and recommended.

  Overall we were very pleased with our stay, but the house needs some updating. Too much old and big furniture in bedrooms. A simple platform queen bed and a chair and small table would give more space. Too many dust collecting nick-nacks. The biggest problem was having to haul all our trash to the dumpster. We were lucky we found someone with a truck to help us. Big outdoor trash cans are needed at the house.

  Perfect Memorial Day Weekend for Family of 8. Perfect small family retreat. We enjoyed the outdoor fire pit and close location to the water but space from the rest of the property. Keep in mind that the Jet Ski's had to borrow docking at the Big Cabin in front but they were very nice and allowed us to use their ramps.

  Log Country Cove exceeded expectations. Nine in our group as my husband and I hosted our college age kids and their friends. We stayed at the Treehouse and loved it. Well stocked, beautiful setting. We fished, hiked, rented kayaks and SUP from the little marina, enjoyed the hot tub, fire pit and grill. The house even had a huge poker/dealer table top and chips. On a misty, overcast day our group played poker and blackjack for hours. The setting is just beautiful, and the house was perfect. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

  Truly unique home. Its beautiful inside and out. It was also very clean upon arrival.Ample parking for our 3 families to park, even with all our atvs. I would highly reccomend! Ill be back for sure.
  Few items i would change if i had to be picky:
  There isnt any locks on any of the bathroom doors!
  The master bathroom shower is located in a dark corner of the bathroom, and there isnt a light above it, so taking a shower in there is very dark!
  The hot water ran out before a 1/3 of us could shower, so a tankless water heater would be a nice addition!
  Still these items didnt hinder me giving 5 stars, the property is just awesome!

  Our family vacation in the tree house was everything we wished for. The craftsmanship of the cabin was jaw dropping, gorgeous beauty in every direction.
  We walked, we rented a boat, we played mini golf, hot tubbed, made s’mores around the fire pit and chatted together on the deck.

  We had a great time in this cabin! The location was quiet and peaceful. Had a peaceful day on the river. It rained the other days, but the cabin was so comfortable and cozy, it didn’t matter. This will definitely be a regular vacation spot for us!

  The treehouse rental was absolutely awesome everything was clean, neat and well-stocked. Locks on the bathroom doors would have been nice as we had a large group of people and we’re afraid that someone may accidentally open the door on somebody especially the kids. Also knobs on the kitchen cabinets and drawers would have been nice since some of the drawers and door were a bit hard to pull open.. This however does not take away from the wonderful time that we all had. So nice to have your own little Cove to put all your water toys and fire pit to set together around in the evening also balconies to view the beautiful scenery , everything in one place. We will definitely be back. Thank you so much for your hospitality.

  This, our 4th time renting the Tree House for our family, was again wonderful. The house is large and spacious and has plenty of deck space.The location is terrific, since it's set up high, with the master bedroom and deck being up in the trees. It was very clean, well maintained and well-supplied. The staff was pleasant and management sent someone to fix a backed-up toilet within a few minutes of our phone call. The grandchildren fished right from the property, spent lots of time on the giant water trampoline and rope swing, and played volleyball and basketball. Everyone enjoyed the paddle boards and pontoon boat. We all enjoyed the hot tub and gathering around the fire pit in the evening making s'mores. To make the stay even better, there should be a several bridge chairs so we can all gather around the table together.This year, our time at the house was really special, since it was truly and escape from the pandemic situation.Our whole three generation family recommends the Tree House at Log Country Cove.

  Great house. Great location. Fabulous grounds and activities. House well works but hard to get it to stay at the temperature set. Sometimes goes up, sometimes down on its own. Management was very helpful in coming quickly to alleviate the problem twice, but the 2nd level toilet needs fixing. This was our third wonderful stay.
