About 

Coyote Moon Lodge is a 5 bedroom/4.5 bath home that sleeps 30 people.  This cabin will be your families favorite place! The large pool overlooks the Koi pond with several different covered patios and several places to enjoy the scenery.  The main house has 3 bedrooms & a loft (sleeps 14).  The bunkhouse has 1 king bed and 2 sets of bunk beds (sleeps 8).  The hayloft is above the bunkhouse and it as a full kitchen, washer/dryer and living room (sleeps 8).  Coyote Moon Lodge is on Log Country Cove property and is managed by Log Country Cove with 20 + years of five star hospitality in the Kingsland area.  Non-motorized items included in your stay.

  We rented both Cabin Fever and Coyote Moon for a large girls' retreat (45 people total). Both homes were beautiful, had comfortable beds and furniture, well-appointed kitchens, nice linens, and were close enough that we could walk back and forth easily. Having two refrigerators within the Coyote Moon house was really nice, as we could have a 'snack and drink fridge' for the kids, and they weren't eating all of our ingredients we planned to cook. We enjoyed the pool and hot tub at each home, as well as little touches like corn hole, horseshoes, and the chimineas. Everything was VERY clean... truly, not a single mark on the shower glass doors, and we were very comfortable. Kingsland was about a 5 minute drive away, where we found an HEB and a very helpful Mr Gattis pizza. We are already talking about having next year's retreat there again.

  We were so surprised and impressed with the property. It was like having our own private resort on 5 acres! The outdoor amenities were awesome and plenty of places nearby for hiking and exploring. Everything was better than advertised, including a full apartment! We were there for our son's wedding which was held at the venue right there in the community and was very convenient for all. I would highly recommend and would stay again.

  This was the first time we stayed at Coyote Moon and we really enjoyed it. The pool was large enough for our 22 person group and the fact that a large part of it was covered was a plus. The coy pond was a relaxing view and the younger children found the fish fascinating. The common area in the main house was large enough for our traditional bingo game and two dining tables worked for us. All of the appliances and systems were in working order and the unit was clean(when we arrived). We brought a pickle ball net and there was plenty of room to set it up and play in the driveway. We have no hesitation in recommending this venue for your large group.

  Our family has stayed at Log Country Cove for many years; several different family reunions and a wedding. Each of those stays have been at different homes, but each and everyone one has been a wonderful experience.
  We had 30 this last weekend with three generations. The set up was perfect at Coyote Moon Lodge with the outdoor kitchen, shaded patios, pool and game room. Most of us took advantage of the community grounds, the games and the lake with trampoline, kayaks and rope swing. Lots of good memories made!

  This is our second time staying in Coyote Moon Lodge, first time under the new owners. Overall the property is perfect for our needs. Having 2 full kitchens was helpful for meal prep and the kitchens were well stocked with all appliances and utensils we needed. The hot tub was cleaned and heated perfectly. It was nice for our chilly weather. The pool was heated as well, but that it was expensive to heat...$650 for the weekend and it rained 1/2 the time. This house has ample room to fit our party of 27 and we did not feel crowded. We had plenty of space on the property for an egg hunt over Easter weekend. Everyone enjoyed themselves!!
  However, there is some maintenance needed. I don't remember the cabinet fronts being white the first time we rented this house but they are white now and need some touching up. The doors in the utility room didn't close properly for the washer and dryer. In the bunk room, the bunk beds wobble, anytime the person on top moved it shook the whole bed including the people sleeping below it. The sofa bed in the hay loft needs a new is so thin and very uncomfortable that the two sleeping there chose the floor instead. This property has a large number of cats that hang around it. One in particular is extremely sweet and very cuddly...one of my party almost took it home. I named it "No-Cat" because it was constantly getting into the house when the door was open, hopping up on the outside furniture when we were eating, hopped in our cars once or was constantly hearing "NO!"
  Even with the minor issues, none of them prevented us from having an excellent time! I'm sure we will be back to Log Country Cove and Coyote Moon Lodge again!

  Everything was wonderful! The only comment for improvement would be the lamps had to plugs to plug into and several of them had no bulbs. And there was no broom! We swept after meals with a dry mop, but those are minor, we loved it!!!

  We booked Coyote Moon Lodge as one of 3 houses (within walking distance) for a Reunion of 60 people. All were immaculately clean - not even a spider web on the porches! Coyote Moon Lodge was our main house and we easily fed the whole group there each evening. This is truly an extraordinary property that is beautifully and thoughtfully designed and landscaped. Even in the 100+ degree heat, there was a cool spot by the Coi Pond, under a fan and with a breeze. The bunkhouse game room provided hours of fun in the cold air conditioning. LCC staff was quick to respond and very helpful with a housekeeping issue. Along with the fun activities down at the Common Area, this place was perfect for our reunion and we would love to stay again!!

  Our overall experience was good. Had a hot water heater issue for 2 days so no hot showers or bath in master bedroom. The repairman came out over holiday but couldn’t fix until late the next day. We appreciated his response.

  The Coyote Moon Lodge was the headquarters for our wonderful family reunion. We had over fifty of our family members in attendance, staying in four cabins at the Log Country Cove facility.
  The Coyote Moon was perfect for our reunion due to its ability to house so many guests. The Lodge is designed to sleep up to 30 people. However, it can very comfortably provided for our over 50 guests, giving us kitchen facilities and space to take care of their needs in air conditioned comfort. The pool area had shade to help prevent the children from getting sunburned. The property was well-maintained and the description of all the amenities is very accurate.
  It is the perfect location for a large family gathering.
  The rentals of golf carts and water craft from the LBJ Water Craft rentals exceeded our expectations. Also all of the water front activities (swimming, rope swing, water trampoline, volley ball, etc.) were truly enjoyed by our family members.
  We would highly recommend the rental of the Coyote Moon Lodge by anyone who is looking forward to having a large gathering in the Hill Country of Texas. Log Country Cove does a wonderful job of conveying to its guests what the true spirit of Texas is.

  We chose Cedar Skies because our daughter and now son in law fell in love with the wedding venue. Coyote Moon Lodge was selected since we needed a place to host the rehearsal dinner for a very large family. The pool, hot tub, covered patio area and kei pond was the perfect spot. This place is breath taking beautiful with all the lights and colored lights surrounding the property. One suggestion to offer...the patio area could use more lighting for cooking purposes.
  The house was perfect for a bunch of grandchildren and young adults. Every aspect of our weekend there exceeded our expectations. Thank you all for an amazing weekend and we will definitely return in the near future.

  Had a great time. Home pictures were a little deceiving. Not as big as pictures portrayed. The property was nice. Service cleaning was good, but many things needed a deep cleaning. (Dishwasher, washing machine, coffee pots and air filters) I have pictures if needed. Great place for a large family. Only down fall was the two bedrooms up stairs only had one small bathroom to share.

  Everything was clean. The kitchen had everything we need to cook all of our meals. Enjoyed the house pool as well! Staff was friendly and helpful. Great location, and the kids enjoyed all of the amenities down by the main lodge (trampoline, dock, rope swing). And the water rentals were great as well. We rented paddle boards, jet skis, and a tri-toon.

  The house is beautiful and well kept! Everything was clean and picked up 😊 The amount of space the house has is awesome! We liked that the teens had their own privacy for themselves away from the little ones. We all really enjoyed the time at the pool and hanging out outside. Loved that they have a game room and kids and adults could just chill and forget their electronics for a moment in life. Overall it was a beautiful experience, very calm and with a lot of privacy from other rental properties and we hope to visit the log country cove in the near future!

  Our group of 5 families (7 adults / 8 teens / 6 kids) stayed at Coyote Moon for 4 nights over Spring Break. The views are beautiful with hills all around and lots of bluebonnets. We had a lot of privacy being on 10 acres and there was plenty of room for the kids to explore.
  The best part was having 2 houses. The couples stayed in the main house and the kids stayed in the bunkhouse and hayloft.
  The biggest hits with the kids were the basketball goal (which was adjustable), the pool and hot tub. We also played pool, air hockey and ping pong in the game room but the weather was so nice we spent the most time outside. We paid to have the pool heated which was $236 for 4 days but was totally worth it. The younger kids were fascinated with the koi pond which had some huge fish. We played board games, threw the football, played corn hole, sat outside and talked or played cards, made a fire and cooked smores... It was such an amazing time where kids and parents had fun together. When the adults were ready for bed, the kids could hang out by the pool or in the game room and stay up as late as they wanted.
  We had Angels Pizza delivered one night which I highly recommend. We brought food for all of our other meals and having 2 refrigerators in the main house and lots of empty cabinets was so helpful to store all of our groceries.
  The dining room table is huge because it’s 2 tables pushed together. We were able to fit a lot of people at the table for meals but there’s also plenty of seating outdoors. When we weren’t eating we separated the tables to make it easier to play games and cards.
  It was about a 10 minute walk to the common area and the lake where we played volleyball, mini golf and the kids went on the rope swing into the water.

  Excellent location. Facilities were perfect for a large number of people. Having a separate gameroom was perfect for kids and adults. Lot’s of outdoor seating for groups or if you want some quiet time. Even though this property is not on the water, the boat ramp swimming, and fishing are just minutes away. The staff are excellent.   We had family members from 14 months to 85 years old. We enjoyed the well maintained ski boat, pontoon boat, jet ski, paddle boats, kayaks,water trampoline, swings and beautiful common areas. The water front lake view of the common areas was exceptionally beautiful. The staff was very helpful and accommodating . Coyote Moon Lodge worked great for our large family group of 17. It was very neat and clean and well maintained. We enjoyed the pool on those hot summer days in Texas. We highly recommend Log Country Cove and it’s amenities.
