  Our rental cabin, Haynes Hideway is a nice place for a Reunion. We have been coming here since 2017. Always clean and has plenty of room for 6 grown men to stay.
  
  We left our place we had been staying to 25 years in Kingsland, TX because, they kept increasing the lease and we just got tired of it.
  
  Log Cabin Cove has had some increases since 2017 but mostly, they have been fair to us.

  We had a wonderful time at a beautiful place that fit our entire family. We created great memories. The hot tub was a huge hit. We also loved our family time around the fire pit. Unfortunately it was below 20 degrees most of the time we were there, so we couldn't enjoy the outdoors as much as we had hoped, but inside was warm and cozy. I think coming in the summer would be amazing.

You only needed to bring food, paper products and toiletries because the cabin has everything else. The pool and jacuzzi were great to hang out it. Everyone was comfortable and slept great. We were planning trips back before we even left. It’s a great place for a little getaway to relax and enjoy peace and quiet. The lake was great too. We’ll have to bring a boat next time.   We stayed at Haynes Hideaway and had a fabulous time. We were a short walk to the main area where kids played in the water trampoline and paddle boards. We rented a pontoon boat for 4 hrs and road up and down the lake while pulling kiddos on a float. Kitchen was well equipped with everything we needed. Outside refrigerator was great to house drinks. The patio was so spacious with plenty of comfortable seating. Pool and hot tub were perfect. Beds and baths worked out great for our large family of 18. We will do this again!

Pool is amazing and kids used the swing. The deck and pool area were the center of our activities. Several slept outside under the stars.

  Loved the location and the experience of staying in a huge log cabin. One big issue we had was when my wife was bathing our 2 year old in the bathtub, then started to drain the water, the toilet next to the tub started to come out underneath the toilet and fill the room and hallway. Apparently the main septic line was plugged and even backed up into the master bathtub as well. The staff was very quick to get out and fix the issue within an hour but the next day we had the same issue happen again. Also, the hot tub blower was not working so that was a bummer. Some minor housekeeping issues could take this cabin from good to great. The staff is the reason why we would return and maybe try a different cabin.

  We rented the cabin for our large family of 16. There was enough space for everyone and we didn’t feel cramped at all. The home was very clean and well kept and the grounds were gorgeous. Ages ranged fro 48 to 4 months and there were enough fun activities to keep everyone busy. We appreciated the games in the closet as well. I didn’t know what to expect in the kitchen, but was pleasantly surprised to find everything we needed, including a crockpot, can opener, mixer, etc. The trail was gorgeous and we had a blast hiking.   This was our 3rd visit but not our best. Booking was very pleasant and Ellen was great. We had a good time but there were issues with the house that I feel we should have been made aware of, received a discount for, or should have been addressed before we came. Our party was looking forward to hanging out in the hot tub but the air blowers did not work due to damage from the freeze. We spent the whole first day trying to figure out what was wrong instead of just enjoying ourselves. That night when we were about to shower, we realized that the entire shower head in one of the bathrooms was missing. Maintenance came within 30 minutes and replaced it. The next day the pool heater stopped working and maintenance was unable to get it to work again. Between this and the hot tub the grown ups did not touch the pool or spa again. There was a leak in the ceiling of one of the rooms and at some point the front door handle came off. I feel like I should have received an account credit, free night for my next visit, or something for all of the problems.

    Rhonda, First of all we appreciate your repeat business. Some of the maintenance issues can be out of our control but we try to fix them as soon as we know about them. I'm sorry about the pool heater issue but someone changed settings in the remote as it is still functioning properly. The hot tub does still heat to 104 degrees but the blower is out. We have been waiting on a part for the blower to get it working again but unfortunately the freeze and Corona has delayed a lot of pool and electrical parts. We have already fixed the issues you found with the home and hope you come back soon. Thanks, LCC

  There were 10 of us, 4 being teens. We always felt safe with them walking around the area without an adult. There were many choices of things to do like hiking, water "toys", swings, volleyball, tee shirt shopping, and our hot tub too! The main living area/great room was huge and kept us all together for meals and games!! Ellen was VERY helpful with any questions we had!

  This was our second trip to Log Country Cove this season. We stayed in Creekside before, could not get in this time and stayed in Haynes Hideaway. It is not as private, but we did have a great dock that our family members really enjoyed fishing from. Flat walk in from front door and out back patio. Very important for us, as I bring my 94 year old Mother. Master for her with own bath on bottom floor, 2 more bedrooms downstairs and 2 masters with private baths upstairs. Worked out perfectly.

  Amazing weekend to celebrate family birthdays as well as Father's Day. This place had everything we love to do. Rope swing, water trampoline, pool, lake for our Yamaha jet boat and more. The house had plenty of room for all 4 families to spread out and claim their own spots. Will definitely be coming back next summer! I think we have found our permanent summer rental place!!

  We rented Haynes Hideaway and Cowboy Cove for a small family reunion.. 20 adults. We’ve never done anything like this with this group and I’m not exaggerating when I say EVERYONE had a great time. The houses are great,the sleeping quarters and bathrooms were excellent and the outside space with the pools and decks were perfect. The staff accommodated all our needs We will definitely be back.

  This cabin was absolutely Perfect for a week getaway with 9 women! We Loved the bedroom placement and adequate size of the bedrooms & bathrooms.
  The washer and dryer was very useful to us, and so was the extra refrigerator outside. We used the hot tub almost every night. I will definitely consider renting this particular cabin again in the future! The customer service was also “top-notch”!
