Creekside is a 4 bedroom/3 bath waterfront home that overlooks a cove.  This house has a pool & a hot tub (the pool can be heated for an additional cost).  If you are looking for a vacation spot that will host a large group or family, this is the one for you.  Creekside is located on Log Country Cove property and is managed by Log Country Cove with 20+ years of 5 star hospitality in the Kingsland area.  Non-motorized items included in your stay.

  We spent a long weekend with another family at Creekside (4 adults, 3 teenage boys) and everyone had a fantastic time! Log Country Cove is a beautiful, well maintained resort with plenty to do for everyone. Creekside home offered everything we needed-plenty of towels, all basic kitchen necessities, washer/dryer, and super comfy beds! The outdoor space is completely amazing with a huge porch that plenty of seating and looks out over the water, pool/hot tub, fire pit, and large yard on the creek that feeds into the lake for fishing/water activities. We are already planning our next trip to LCC!

  This was our third annual visit to Creekside. With 3 couples and 4 grandkids this place is perfect. So nice to have everything at your fingertips. You can just stay at the house and enjoy the pool or hot tub, the big yard, fire pit and porch or go to the great park and enjoy the swings, kayaks, mini golf or rent a boat. Wonderful place and so close to Austin. House has everything you need.

  We had a wonderful time at Creekside. It's really an amazing house. It was very comfortable for our group with plenty of seating both for meals and just lounging around.
  
  My only complaint is that despite the property not being "pet friendly", obviously someone had brought a small dog. There were small stains in a number of places. Otherwise, I'd highly recommend the house, location, and amenities.

  This was our 4th time at Log Country Cove and the 3rd time staying at Creekside. There are two masters downstairs. My Mother is 97 and needs a private bathroom and she wants me to be close by. This works out perfectly! We have a large family and this cabin works great for all of us. We ALL want to be on the water and have our personal pool/hot tub. AND it MUST be ADA friendly for my Mom. This is the only way she can travel with us. 4 generations makes the perfect vacation. Cabin is perfect for all of us.

  While the home was spacious the description was misleading. It does not sleep 16 in beds, but only 14. There were no sheets for the pull outs. The kitchen utensils, etc could use updating. The oven did not go over 325. While on the lake, you can not get a boat or JetSki to the home so you have to park it away and walk or shuttle people to them. Wifi was non existent.

  This lovely house fit our family gathering beautifully. The youngest ones loved the pool, the more grown up ones brought paddle boards and set off on the channel directly from the property. It was 4th of July holiday and too busy on the lake for the paddle boards but perfect in the cove. The weather was so hot that we did not spend as much time outside as we had hoped but the inside fit our needs perfecrtly. The kitchen is well stocked but could use some large bowls for salad and or pasta as well as a large pot for boiling shrimp or pasta. The owners are a wee bit skippy on dishwasher pods, garbage bags and paper towels. And no kleenix at all. These are minor issues but we were scrambling for things to put our trash in before we left. The entire property is really nice and we would love to come again when we can gather our family together.

  Our family enjoyed the serene area. Water activities and the pool were a great add for enjoyment although we went during the colder season and did not take advantage of all that was available. The cabin was spacious enough for nine. Trails were nice for a morning walk and the main area of the resort was refreshing in the cool evenings. Golf cart rental is always fun too. Church was nearby and only 6 minutes away. Front office personnel was helpful, hospitable and great to respond. Thank you Rhonda! We will be back to rent another cabin.

  Creekside provided two entrances which our group needed. The back entrance was flat with no steps (one guests was on walker at time). The cabin itself was beautiful. We had several conversations regarding the construction. Everything we needed was provided and very clean. We were so happy with the quiet location that we never went into town except for one trip to HEB.

  My husband and I had never been to this particular area of "TX Hillcountry" before and it was beautiful. The entire Log Country Cove facility had a cool, vintage vibe that would be a great place to bring kids, do a big family reunion, etc. I would say if sand volleyball is you thing, there's plenty of those courts.
  
  Our cabin was very clean and comfy. Kitchen was well equipped and had updated appliances which was a VERY nice touch. Each room had a ceiling fan, which was also a very nice surprise. We had an issue with our sink the first night and a very nice guy came out very quickly to fix! Also, the HEB and Sonic are very convenient!
  
  I travel a lot, so just a few of my VERY minor suggestions:
  
  Wish there was a light at the entrance, pitch black at night and a little tough to know where to turn in.
  
  Front Desk lady could have done a better job explaining amenities, how to use them, etc. or even have a book in the cabin that detailed when we could use canoes, etc. We could see them from our cabin, but weren't sure if we were allowed to use. We finally learned we could rent a golf cart to go exploring (highly recommend)
  
  We chose our cabin based on the fact it had a pool and hot tub. However, you cant heat up the hot tub without heating up the pool, so that was a bummer and made swimming nearly impossible after that. There was no booklet/signage that said that so wouldve been nice to know.
  
  Each cabin is labeled, but no consistent format throughout the property and not in clear locations, so that makes initially finding your cabin difficult.

  This is our third time to stay at LCC. We love it! The only thing we would change is this year we stayed in creekview and there was only one refrigerator. The last one we stayed in had two and it was easier to store our food. We have shared our family fun stay with friends, two groups are going this summer.

  We had a phenomenal family getaway with 9 of us this past weekend. We stayed three nights at Creekside Cabin which was perfect. Great deck overlooking the sloping lawn and creek. Wonderful fire pit. Horseshoes, tether ball, pool and hot tub all added to the fun and the hammock added to the relaxation. The house was well equipped and rustic. We will be back!

  My 94 year old Mother lives with us and so we have not been able to go ANYWHERE. Creekside is a log cabin that sleeps 16 and on it's own 5 acres! We had our own pool, hot tub and were on the water. WE could walk her in and she enjoyed sitting on the porch and watching all activities while staying safe.

  Creekside was a very nice log accommodation which I would expect for $1,072/night. But I was shocked and appalled to receive an email from Log Country Cove telling me to bring my own toilet paper and paper towels. Even Motel 6 provides toilet paper. And like Tom Bodet would say on those old radio commercials, "Once you turn out the lights, they're all pretty much the same." I would rethink my marketing strategy before sending out similar emails in the future.

    George, We appreciate you staying with us. We do get all of our homes started with several rolls of toilet paper per bathroom and a roll of paper towels. In most cases the toilet paper is enough for your stay. Our vacation rentals have plenty of dish rags in them which negates the need for a bunch of paper towels. We simply send that email so you are aware you may need extra of those items.   The property and house were enjoyable with plenty of comfortable beds and space for 9 people including 3 children ages 3-10. Everyone enjoyed the foosball and hot tub. There should be written directions to heat the hot tub; Shawn did come and show us how the remote worked, but still unsure of when it was heating. A maintenance person came to get the gas fireplace working. We loved the location near the cove and grassy area. A beautiful location with lots of seating outside and inside. A very relaxing place. The trail was nearby too.

  Nice, well-kept house. Great location with pretty views. The pool was very clean and well maintained. Love the fire pit area. Two items for improvement: the wifi didn't work during our entire visit (they came out and looked at it, but repair was not made while we were there), the kitchen could use some additions like large bowls, sharp knives, more dish towels. The kitchen tools were a little lacking compared to other large vacation homes we have rented in the past.

  We loved everything about our experience, the only problem were the many steps and stairs to the front entrance when unloading all our food and ice chests. We later found another place around the property that made it easier. There was a lot of privacy, an awesome pool and not tub, with a great sitting area and wrap around porch. The wildlife was aplenty, including deer, fox, birds, and even a couple friendly chickens. An awesome swing beside the great waterfall and creek. Indoors was set up very comfortably also.
