  We were very impressed with the cabin, it was clean, beautifully decorated and furnished. The view from the living room overseeing the private pool and Hill country was beautiful. When I selected it from the Vrbo site, I didn’t realize it included canoes, kayaks, river beach access, volleyball court and other amenities as part of the rental. Our family really enjoyed it, we will be coming back.

We had a couple of concerns with our pool and clogged plumbing that were addressed so quickly that the incidents only stay in mind because of the wonderfully fast service.   The cabin/pool were both clean and organized when we arrived. Log Country Cove has really beautiful, well designed cabins, but I love the little things they did to make our stay easier. Lots of gadgets and dishware in the kitchen for pretty much any kind of cooking that we wanted to do. Lots of extra blankets and pillows in chests around the house. Even the blinds are designed to be easy to open and close. They really make it feel like you’re visiting their home rather than some investment property.

  We had a wonderful stay at the Red Wing cabin! The pool and hot tub were great and clean. We enjoyed the evenings watching the sunset as the pool/covered porch face west. The surrounding property of Log Country Cove was lovely too. We enjoyed the big swings, water trampoline, and rope swing into the water. We rented a boat and that was great too. Everything was so easy- from arrival, to boat rental, to walking around the property, to checkout. The only feedback we have is the kitchen could use a couple saucepans, one of the futons was missing a blanket, and the mattresses and pillows could be more supportive. None of these things impeded an absolutely perfect time. We will definitely return!

  The property is a perfect place to relax and get way from it all. Plenty of activities to do at the nearby community center, like rent a kayak or paddle board, go jet skiing, and a few other activities like a makeshift basketball court, putt putt golf and a sand volleyball court. The house has plenty of space between it and neighboring properties, and the huge deck and pool/hot tub area is a nice and intimate setting. The only thing I would note is there’s no WiFi, and our signal was pretty weak out there. And while the tv turns on, there’s nothing to watch since it seems cable or satellite isn’t activated.

    Hi Alex. I am so glad you enjoyed the White Cloud. Some of our homeowners have opted out of Wi-Fi as their personal preference. I know it is a hard adjustment for many but we are glad you enjoyed your stay Unplugged! As for the TV, next time you come stay with us, please let us know about these issues. This home does have cable hooked up so it should have been working! We have an on call maintenance company that can usually run up and fix problems quickly! We do hope that you come back and see us!

  The only one little negative I would say we had was that the guests in the Wood Havin played their music very laid until around 2 am a couple of nights.

  Overall, this is a lovely property with an exceptional backyard view. We were so happy to have the pool for the hot summer afternoons, but a walk to the lake marina was super easy (5 min). The house itself was perfectly clean. The kids absolutely loved the bunk room and had plenty of room to spread out (and veg out!) It's a little snug for two sets of adults as there is only one master bedroom and the other bedrooms are really small. This did not dampen our trip and but the extra space (and privacy) would have been nice. There's also not a lot of room to store groceries (there is no pantry). So, don't overbuy groceries! The lake marina was super fun and we had a blast playing putt putt, jumping on the lake trampoline, and swinging from the rope. This is an adorable area and a great vacation spot!

  We came to get away from everything and get rid of stress. White Cloud was just what we needed. It was extremely clean and very nice. We spent most of our time on the back patio and in the pool and hot tube which were amazing. We did go down to the lake and walk around, but did not get in. The grounds by the lake are beautiful. The office staff was great to work with and very flexible. Unfortunately we were only able to stay 2 nights. We will definitely be back and our next stay will be longer. I highly encourage folks to come for a fun and relaxing getaway.

  a little far to walk to the main office and toys and games. Must love bats. bring your own patio table umbrella. Pool on the west side so no shade after noon.

  Recently stayed 3 nights at Cloud 10. The outdoor space is absolutely incredible. The pool is fantastic though the surface is fairly rough; my toddler daughter ended up with scraped knees from playing on the pool landing. Before I continue let me state we had high expectations for the property since we had previously stayed at a home in Log Country Cove which was incredibly spotless. Walking into Cloud 10 everything looked nice but on closer inspection it needs a few things looked at. There was dust everywhere, especially dust bunnies on the floor. Many blinds are not functional. And more than anything the bathrooms need updating or an extreme deep clean. Really nice jacuzzi tub in the downstairs bathroom but hot water ran out within a minute or 2. The shower’s water pressure was really low. (We did inform the ladies in the office about the hot water.) I could continue with a few more grievances but overall I would still recommend the property for the outdoor space since that’s where we spent most of our time (as long as the hot water issue is corrected).

  My wife and I, along with our three boys (13,11,8) stayed here the week before thanksgiving. Log Country Cove and Cloud 10 far exceeded any expectations we had prior to arriving. We were sad to leave. Whether you want to sit inside and admire the log cabin construction, sit outside and admire the view, sit in the hot tub, or hike a trail, this place is the place for you. We chose Cloud 10 because of privacy and seclusion, yet liked how it was still close to trails, and only a 5-6 minute walk to main activity area. Our boys loved putt-putt, and we fished all the little boat channels that were accessible around LCC. We caught about 12 large mouth bass fishing with spinner baits and finess worms (pumpkin seed and red bug). The largest fish we caught was about 2 pounds. The boys loved it.
  
  The cabin had everything we needed (except a lighter for the bbq pit and fire pit), and all we needed was food, drinks, and charcoal. All appliances were great, everything functioned great, and beds were even comfortable. Main bedroom had a king size, loft had 2 fulls plus futon, and there were two other bedrooms upstairs with a full/queen in each. Plenty space for everyone, and downstairs furniture was perfect for a spot to curl up with your wife and watch Romantic Christmas Comedies on Hallmark channel (hahaha).
  
  We plan to return here every year, and maybe go at different times so we can actually use the pool, too. Thank you Log Country Cove for a wonderful getaway that was way better than we hoped for and worth every penny!

  We thoroughly enjoyed our visit to Cloud 10 at Log Country Cove! We've been to LCC many times, but had never stayed in this home before, and it suited our needs perfectly with two adult couples and two teenagers. The pool and hot tub were AMAZING -- we heated them (an extra charge) to our liking, and it was the highlight of the trip to enjoy those since the lake was closed (due to recent flooding). Our only wish was that there were clearer instructions in a central location for things like how to use/adjust the heat/AC, heat and jets for the pool/hot tub, and the Direct TV (very complicated for those who've never used it, and the front desk couldn't help us at all). Also, it's good to be aware that due to the log cabin construction, it's very noisy in the downstairs bedroom if the people upstairs are getting up in the night (or morning!) and you're trying to sleep -- can't be helped, it's just part of the construction style -- but people pretty much need to go to sleep and wake up at the same basic time. Beds were all especially comfortable! We'll definitely be back, and will stay in Cloud 10 again!
