The Shadyside cabin is an efficiency cabin perfect for a quiet getaway.  You have a great view of the TX Hill Country and are very close to the lake.  The Shadyside cabin is located on Log Country Cove property and is managed by Log Country Cove, with 20+ years of 5 star hospitality in the Kingsland Area.  This cabin can sleep up to 4 guests.  Non-motorized items included in your stay.

  Great little cabin especially if you wanted to avoid cooking. We saw deer each day we were there and we loved walking the paved roads. Beautiful colors in the wild flowers, prickly pears and the pair of cardinals that seemed to follow us. Very relaxing.

  We had an excellent time. The location could not have been any better for our needs. Our granddaughter was married and the venue was directly across the street from the cabin.
  
  Housekeeping had a minor problem as there were dead bugs in the bathtub but I figure it was cleaned after the previous renters and no one checked the tub before we were there due to the time that could have been between the rentals.
  
  It was great to have two bathrooms so the trip to the upstairs was not as frequent as it could have been for anyone spending time downstairs.

  Loved this place! It was perfect for a little getaway, so restful! The cabin was well taken care of and the property is beautiful. Loved hiking around the property and spending time at the lake. My only notes would be that the hiking trail to be better marked because we got lost a few times and that the mini golf isn’t true mini gold but putting green holes.

  Our 4 nights at the Shadyside cabin was so very comfortable. The cabin was clean and the loft was was very spacious, with an oversized tub/shower...so relaxing after a day on the lake. Although there is no stove, the keurig, fridge and microwave were all we needed for a nice breakfast. The waterfront grounds are shady and welcoming, with many amenities like mini golf, volleyball, swings (including a great rope swing into the lake for the kids); as well as rental boats and boards.

  This area is beautiful and a little rugged. Rock outcroppings, deer, & cactus galore. My wife & I stayed 3 nights in this cabin. It is very cute and relaxing. The tub upstairs is huge. The king size bed is very comfortable and the staff are very friendly and helpful. Log Country Cove is in a good location to be able to explore Kingsland, Marble Falls, Burnet, Llano, and even Fredericksburg. They have cabins from the little one bed that we stayed in all the way up to 7 bedrooms.
  I would surely recommend this business to anyone who wants to get away and relax for a bit!!

  SHADYSIDE Was difficult to sleep at night when it’s hot!!! there was a small ac upstairs and the window had a board over it, heat was just pouring in. other then that we will be back, but we will just stay at another cabin, this place was amazing and there is so much too do for the family !! you never even need too leave !!!

  We spent MLK weekend here and had a wonderful time. The cabin is small, but well laid out, so we had plenty of room for our family of four (2 adults and 2 teenagers.) The upstairs loft bedroom area is really roomy, so you could absolutely add an air mattress if kids didn't want to share the sofa sleeper. My teens said the sofa was quite comfortable as was the bed upstairs. A few things to note:
  
  1. There's no sink in the downstairs bathroom. I just had my kids brush teeth, etc. in the upstairs bathroom.
  
  2. The firepit area is pretty close to the road and not very private. This wasn't an issue for us because friends rented the cabin next door (Hillside) which is the same floorplan but with firepit in back so we spent most of the time there.
  
  3. Since it was winter there weren't a ton of activities for the kids onsite; however, we went to the Hill Country Adventure Park and rented ATVs. So worth the drive and money!
  
  4. Angel's Pizza was delicous and delivered to the cabin!
  
  All in all a great, safe weekend away. We've already booked our return trip for President's Day Weekend, this time renting a bigger cabin with private pool. Can't wait!

  We had a wonderful time. The place was quiet, and at times we felt like we had the whole area to ourselves. The bed was very comfortable, and the cabin was very, and well kept.

  Perfect getaway! We were at Log Country Cove for a wedding. The cabin was directly across from the venue.
