About 

The Hillside cabin is an efficiency cabin perfect for a quiet getaway.  You have a great view of the TX Hill Country and are very close to the lake.  The Hillside cabin is located on Log Country Cove property and is managed by Log Country Cove, with 20+ years of 5 star hospitality in the Kingsland Area.  This cabin can sleep up to 4 guests.  Non-motorized items included in your stay.

  There was no hand soap in the kitchen. Had to use soap from the shower and take back and forth. Last step of the stairs was twice as high as the other steps. I couldn't get up the final step. I also couldn't get on the bed as the bed was way too high. I feel the room could have been a little more handicap friendly. I know you had a handicap room, but it was occupied. Maybe a shelf in the shower to hold soaps and a handicap bar next to the toilet would help some.Just some suggestions.

  The cabin was very clean upon arrival and the bed was so comfortable! The amenities on the property were also very enjoyable. We had a great time walking around, playing mini golf, and just sitting on the dock by the water.

  My husband and I enjoyed the 4 days we spent at Hillside cabin. The cabin was clean, stocked with the essentials and tastefully decorated. There was more than enough room for the two of us with plenty of places to stash our things.The location is great for exploring area parks, lakes and wineries. If you enjoy hiking, there is a nice 3.5 mile trail through woods, grassland and a creek. Our stay would have been perfect if there had been window coverings on the triangle section of the windows in the loft bedroom. The sun streams in the windows on the front of the cabin in the afternoon causing the air conditioner to struggle to keep the loft comfortably cool. The uncovered triangle window at the back of the loft will wake you early as the sun streams through in the morning. An umbrella for the patio table would have been nice for our morning coffee as the sun hits that area in the morning. The kitchenette was perfect for our needs. A typical kitchen sink, instead of the shallow vanity sink in there, would have made washing dishes easier though.
