The Hillside cabin is an efficiency cabin perfect for a quiet getaway.  You have a great view of the TX Hill Country and are very close to the lake.  The Hillside cabin is located on Log Country Cove property and is managed by Log Country Cove, with 20+ years of 5 star hospitality in the Kingsland Area.  This cabin can sleep up to 4 guests.  Non-motorized items included in your stay.

  Cute and clean little cabin, very comfy bed, enjoyed watching the sunrise from the back porch. The upstairs a/c could have blown a bit cooler but they did have a small fan that helped circulate it. I don't think the piece on the A/C that should move up and down was working properly but it wasn't hot. I would have liked some detailed instructions on how to operate the tv remotes and the ac remote. Not all of us are super tech savvy.

  This was our first time visiting the Hill Country and we wanted our young son to be able to “glamp” for his birthday. We chose LCC because of its proximity to attractions (like the Longhorn Cavern state park). The cabin was clean and comfortable. The fire pit/charcoal grill was also nice. The beach area of the river was okay; the sand was rocky. The whole area was well kept. The only thing we didn’t like was the noisy mini split AC unit upstairs in our cabin. Other than that, we would love to come back.

  Only complaint is that neither shower worked, so baths only! But no big deal! We enjoyed the cabin. It was perfect for our family of 4 with the sleeper sofa. We will come back for sure! Highly recommend!

  There was no hand soap in the kitchen. Had to use soap from the shower and take back and forth. Last step of the stairs was twice as high as the other steps. I couldn't get up the final step. I also couldn't get on the bed as the bed was way too high. I feel the room could have been a little more handicap friendly. I know you had a handicap room, but it was occupied. Maybe a shelf in the shower to hold soaps and a handicap bar next to the toilet would help some.Just some suggestions.

  This was my second time at Log Country Cove, my first time staying in the Hillside Cabin. It was perfect for two people and we had a very relaxing weekend.
  The cabin was very clean upon arrival and the bed was so comfortable! The amenities on the property were also very enjoyable. We had a great time walking around, playing mini golf, and just sitting on the dock by the water.
  We love this place so much that we already booked one of the bigger cabins to enjoy with friends this summer.

  My husband and I enjoyed the 4 days we spent at Hillside cabin. The cabin was clean, stocked with the essentials and tastefully decorated. There was more than enough room for the two of us with plenty of places to stash our things.The location is great for exploring area parks, lakes and wineries. If you enjoy hiking, there is a nice 3.5 mile trail through woods, grassland and a creek. Our stay would have been perfect if there had been window coverings on the triangle section of the windows in the loft bedroom. The sun streams in the windows on the front of the cabin in the afternoon causing the air conditioner to struggle to keep the loft comfortably cool. The uncovered triangle window at the back of the loft will wake you early as the sun streams through in the morning. An umbrella for the patio table would have been nice for our morning coffee as the sun hits that area in the morning. The kitchenette was perfect for our needs. A typical kitchen sink, instead of the shallow vanity sink in there, would have made washing dishes easier though.

  Only draw back was the highway traffic noise that can be heard. So not serene as mentioned by me there residents which is why I chose this in the first place. If it weren’t for the noise I would highly highly recommend.

  The Hillside cabin was more secluded than most of the others in the property, so perfect for the pandemic.
  Very clean and comfortable accommodations.

  Experience was excellent! I would only say that stores are very far away that I would have added a couple drinks of some sort in the frig. Would have made the world of difference. I know we arrived really late at night. Very nice place to stay.

  Third year in a row staying here. Brought friends this time. We are already looking at a big house for next year. Love everything about this place. Relaxing like camping,but not as much work. Staff is top notch and lots to do for adults and kids.

  My Husband,daughter and I have stay here twice. Different Cabins but we have loved both of them. We usually stay here during the winter because is so peaceful.The second time we spend New Year’s here and we can’t wait to go back...
