Cowboys Cove is a 4 bedroom/5.5 bath home with a western flare.  This home is waterfront and has a pool and hot tub.  Cowboys Cove has great spaces to entertain making it a great option for larger families.  Cowboys Cove is located on Log Country Cove property and is managed by Log Country Cove with 20+ years of five star hospitality in the Kingsland Area.  Non-motorized items included in your stay.

  I’ve been going to Long Country cove for about 15+ years. Every visit has been great. This cabin is awesome. It has 3 levels. The girls hung out downstairs and enjoyed watching tv while the others played pool and shuffle board. Everything was clean and tidy. We never have any complaints. The kitchen is filled with everything you’d need. Log country cove never disappoints. You will definitely enjoy your stay.

  This is our 8th year to stay at Cowboy’s Cove for our annual pre-Thanksgiving family vacation. We love this house and will continue to come back. It is always clean and comfortable. I would say my only negative commen is the Log Country Cove fees have gone way up compared to last year. Resort fee over 250% and cleaning fee over 50%.

  Cowboys Cove is a beautiful place for family fun. Loved the cabin and loved it is walking distance to the lake. We had so much fun using the paddle boards, small paddle boats (for the kids), the water trampoline, the swings and just sitting under the shade trees.   Having a large enough place during the coldest days of the year was wonderful. Everything from checking in to the arrival instructions was perfect. No surprises. The cabin was furnished so nicely with all the kitchen items you could ask for, the bathrooms with plenty of towels. There were plenty of beds and fun downstairs for all the kiddos to keep busy during this freezing weather. The only downside was it was cold downstairs; the heater could not keep the entire house warm. Only one space heater was found for downstairs and just wasn't enough.
  My family is coming back in July to another cabin here at the resort. We love the experience we had and look forward to another trip here!

  The home was spacious, clean and artfully decorated. We used the common area rope swing into the lake as well as the beach area and miniature golf. It was very hot and we had 15 people going in and out but the AC kept up. The outside stairs to the pool need more stable steps so use the handrail. The water in the pool was so cloudy that you couldn’t see the bottom so I felt that it was dirty. Great shady area by the fire pit for fishing and the grandkids had fun catching small perch.

  This was a trip for our entire family (6 adults and 5 kids) and this is the perfect facility. Everything was clean and the staff was super helpful with anything that we needed. There was lots of stuff for the kids to do with their own private pool, game room, fishing, etc. and the water trampoline and rope swing in the common area was a bonus. We rented a boat for two days of the trip and the staff made that easy and convenient. Our family will definitely be back.

  Nice location of the house, right on the side of the creek. Close to the town and parks. Lovely Cowboy style of decoration. Clean bathroom. Very helpful staff for cleaning the pool after the heavy rain. The property has some water issue in the basement while there is heavy rain. And It needs some maintenances to make it look newer, but overall a nice experience.

  Overall, we had a great time. The place is lovely and has all you need for a fun time. We did have difficulty with the hot tub working many of the days and hot water in the house. They were very attentive to fixing it, it just took a while. I would recommend to a friend and possibly use again. I would just confirm with them that the hot tub is working (the main reason we chose this one in April). We really enjoyed a trip to Perissos Winery, less than a mile away.

This cabin has a great layout with three floors to help give a sense of space and privacy. The basement is such a fun space and hot tub is great! The kitchen is well stocked with app the utensils and pot and pans you'd need with plenty of counter space for the seven of us that stayed.

  I think Cowboys Cove was even more than we expected. The inside was beautiful on 3 floors & the kitchen was furnished so we could easily fix meals for the 8 of us. We selected this cabin because of the extra space and extra bathrooms. The outside was very nice & we took advantage of the hot tub and the fire pit for making s’mores. The four grandkids that were with us enjoyed the swings adjacent to the property and spent a lot of time there. We took hikes, played games and really enjoyed our short visit. Would love to visit sometime soon.

  We had a much needed getaway to a place I've stayed at 3 times prior, and it lived up to my past wonderful experiences at Cowboys Cove. The property is fantastic, not only the house and outdoor areas, but the whole campus.
  The only thing I found a bit negative was the charge for heating the pool. It was not too clear on the website what the cost would be (details were sparse), and the followup email stated $100-200 per day. Even though the weather was warm that weekend, we paid $392. That was a bit of a shock as a post-stay bill. But, I knew what I was getting into!! Love this place and will be back.

  We have had the privilege of having a family retreat somewhere at LCC for the last six years . Each year at a different cabin. My kids and grandkids agree that we hope to stay at Cowboys Cove again next year. Each cabin has been nice, and we liked the Avonne , (which is no longer a rental) , but Cowboys Cove is our favorite. The three levels and general layout worked well for our 4 families , and the shuffle board table was a big hit. It was also nice to be able to dock my boat at the cabin .

  This is a beautiful place with efficient staff who are dedicated to taking care of guests. The home we rented for 4 nights was absolutely PERFECT for our party of 11. Pool area was wonderful, house had so many beds and so VERY much room to spread out and relax. It was great to be able to rent a jet ski for two days and drive it right up on the dock, where there was a lift for our boat as well. Everything that was promised was delivered! This was our second time there and we will be going back annually. Beautiful spot on Lake LBJ. Not cheap but worth every penny. 💜

They all have a blast regardless of age. They are outside all day long. Not on devices - even though they bring them. I keep thinking the kids will get too old to enjoy this kind of natural, old fashion fun, but every year they unanimously want to come back.

We also had an archery battle come out one of the mornings and we used the lawn right next to Cedar Skies to "battle" it out. We had an amazing time.   This property was stunning! We had our whole family for a vacation to the Texas Hill Co where my family is from. Grandparents, kids and grandkids. Out of the two weeks that we spent in SA and the HC, Log Country Cove was everyones favorite, handsdown! All the g-kids loved the space and especially the pool. Our little 8 year old thought she was a mermaid because of all the time she spent there. Also, you couldn't find better Texas hospitality than with the wonderful people who work in the office. No hassle check-in, always there to answer questions...you can tell they take pride in helping others. We really can't say enough about them and the Cove. We are already planning a return.
