The Arrowhead is a two story cabin located on Lake LBJ.  This home can sleep up to 8 people and is located on Log Country Cove property.  The Arrowhead is managed by Log Country Cove, with 20+ years of 5 star hospitality in the Kingsland Area.  Non-motorized items included in your stay.

  The cabin definitely had some wear and tear, and we questioned how clean it was with some spots, and things....we didn't trust the hot tub due to electrical issues, but biggest fault was super dangerous layout for kids. I would have paid more for a safer cabin if I had known. Commons area was great, front porch fishing was great, and staff were all super helpful and amenable.

We found this cabin that was perfect in the area we were looking for and had our kids with us for two nights of the 4 nights we were there.   Truly love this place and will come back for another stay. But we will not stay in Arrowhead again. This particular cabin is not very well suited for a family of 5 (3 kids under 8) the master bedroom is an open loft and the bottom basement bedroom ceilings are maybe 6ft high. The kitchen is pretty difficult to use in any meaningful way if you are planning on doing any cooking. But love the compound and all the built in activities. Arrowhead is right on the water with a great patio. If you are just young adults or have older kids it’s probably a fine option.

  We rented 2 houses, the Hanes Hideaway and this one for our 8th year. They have made excellent outdoor improvements at the Arrowhead however they definitely need to spend some money inside. Mattresses are old and uncomfortable and the furniture is pretty worn.
  
  My other concern is the yard people and their lack of concern for guest safety and property. They went right by my Aunt and sprayed her with grass and gravel and they also sprayed grass, a lot of grass, into one of our boats. In my opinion, this yard company should NOT be working for a resort of this level.
  
  Overall I will say we LOVE Log Country Cove and the Management and we will be back again next year.

  Overall, we enjoyed the community feel. The closeness to the river was wonderful and the peacefulness of the neighborhood was great. The rental could have been deep cleaned a bit better and there is some need of upgrades and renovations like the cabinetry in the kitchen, the carpeting, and the showers. and a few lawn chairs had missing screws that we repaired. The log cabin was beautiful and we loved the feel of the place and the layout. Thank you.

  This cabin was amazing! It was very clean and well stocked. Everything worked great except the toaster which was not a big deal for us. We loved the proximity to Inks Lake and Longhorn caverns. This cabin is situated right on the water so it was perfect for my kids to fish. It's also really close to the common area where we enjoyed putt putt and the boat/kayak rentals. We loved relaxing in our private hot tub after a big day of hiking and roasting marshmallows in the firepit. We would definitely stay again.

  We had a great time. Beautiful cabin, clean, well furnished. Beautiful outdoor area for grilling and just enjoying the scenery. Enjoyed walking on the trail. Also very close to town ,HEB and close to Inks state park.

  My family was in need of a getaway from a rough year. The cabin was clean and we loved the Christmas decor. 5 of the 6 adults are over 6 ft tall. We were disappointed in the third bedroom because we had to walk slumped the whole time we were down there. This would have been nice to know beforehand because I would have booked a different cabin. To pay $300 a night and be uncomfortable was somewhat disappointing. We loved the fire pit, The walking trails were wonderful. It was a beautiful location. Overall we had a great time. We would come back just in a cabin made for people of height. Lol

We do our very best not to hide anything in our descriptions of the homes so everyone knows exactly what they are renting.   My family had a great time in this cabin and there was zero issues. It is well maintained, and everything was nearby. The hot tub was a great addition to the cabin. I really recommend this cabin for anyone needing extra patio space for family time.

  Wonderful time with family. Young grandson loved all the things to do in the common area and playing with (or trying, haha) the older kids. Lots of room to roam and hiking trail was an adventure. Highly recommend a stay in any of their lovely lodging. Great staff as well. Will definitely come again!

  After a quick google search of cabins near the Houston area, I came across Log Country Cove and booked a 3 night stay. If the pictures don’t disclose how beautiful the area is, just wait until you arrive in person. Extemely we’ll maintained and clean, my family and I had a great time and would love to return as soon as we can.

  The scenery was beautiful. Our cabin was very cute. Bathrooms were very small and outdated. Not impressed with kitchen but the outside grill made up for that. Loved the view and being able to walk to the water for fishing.

We've also stayed in the Manda Shae and Rica Shae and those are also really nice. We moved to the K Bar so that we could bunk with our son, his wife, and their three girls.

  The kbar was perfect for two older couples to enjoy the peaseful setting, cook, eat, play cards and just relax. We were very impressed with the grooming of the grounds just a short time after a devastating flood just weeks before our stay. The Legends Golf Course just up the road was also in excellent condition.
