The staff was wonderful. Our log cabin was nice, however, I did explain we were Seniors, so I was surprised with 12 steps to climb to go up to couch
NO closet to hang clothes. This is not a complaint, maybe I should have ask more questions. Had a great stay, would go back.

Fantastic! My truck didn’t move after a short trip to the Marble Falls Walmart. The hill country view was amazing during the return trip. The property was amazing, all the comforts of home. My wife and I just recovered and enjoyed each other. Walks were great, fishing was satisfying, peaceful, the area was quiet in January. We’ll have to come back late Spring, early Fall to see what it’s like. We really enjoyed getting away and needed the peace away from the hustle and bustle..

Log cabin 4 Ric-o-Shar. Just isolate the neighboring back porch deck light so idiots that insist on leaving it on do not shine onto our front bedroom bed. Eliminate the light altogether. Use a flash light or tiny porch light well isolated and very dim.

My family and I enjoyed the rental. The location is beautiful and the cabin is very comfortable. We stayed at a duplex cabin but the size was appropriate for a family of 4. The cabin was cozy and comfortable. The only issue is that there were no pans or pots to cook but we got a cheap one at a local Walmart.
The rental was very clean and organized.
There are plenty of places nearby for families to enjoy. I will definitely recommend this rental go friends and family.

We left Houston, plugged in the address and off we went through little towns and winding roads. Arriving a tad after lunch time the place was so quaint. Reminded me of a summer camp. Our duplex cabin right off the canal was perfect. My husband and I caught ourselves spending most of the time on the porch in the rocking chairs. Coming from the busy city life, it was such a treat to have some quiet time. The staff was great and very helpful as well as welcoming. We played the free mini-golf and shot some hoops as if we were kids again. 2-nights was not long enough. We will be back but with my mom next time. Definitely 5 stars & two thumbs up from me.

My wife and I stayed here for our 6th wedding anniversary and we’re so pleased with our experience. The whole property is gorgeous and the friendly, attentive staff made it so easy and enjoyable. We borrowed a co workers jet ski but they have pontoon boats and jet skis to rent so we will definitely be back with our kids and rest of the family!

We loved our stay at Log Country Cove. It was the perfect getaway to unwind and have some fun. We rented kayaks for $10 an hour, rented a boat for $95 an hour and had a blast with the free mini golf course, sand volleyball, and playscapes. Our cabin was perfect and right on the water. It was extremely clean when we arrived. The only issue we had were no wood for the fire pit, so be sure to bring your own and the soap in the bathroom was almost gone when we arrived so we had to use the dish soap to wash our hands. Aside from that, it was nothing short of amazing.

This was one of the more relaxing vacations we took. I think the advertising was msiileading in saying the cabin was on the lake, because it was not. It was on channels. The main gathering area was on the river, but you still had to have a bot to access the “lake”. We were not familiar with this area and relied on what website said. Best way to enjoy this property is with your own boat and water toys, otherwise you are limited unless you want to spend $$$$ to rent. We noticed most people stayed only overnight or 2-3 days then moved on.

  Kristen, We are sorry you felt mislead. The Rica is on the cove/waterfront of Lake LBJ. Our commons area, located just a short walk away, is on the Colorado Arm of Lake LBJ. We hope you will come back and visit us in the future and utilize our commons area. Our commons area features a rope swing, water trampoline, small beach area, etc. At check in, we normally go over what you have access to and we must have failed to let you know. Thanks, LCC

We loved it there! We were looking for a quiet weekend get away and the location was more than we expected!It was beautiful peaceful and had tons of activities to do!! Our only complaint was that the Rica shay and is a duplex. Our neighbor came back to their side of the duplex at 1:30 in the morning and were Extremely Loud and obnoxious. We had to go over to the other side of the cabin, knock on the door and ask them to turn down their TV and quiet down. We knew this could happen because we signed up for the duplex, but it was still disappointing that people could be so inconsiderate. We will for sure re-book in tge future but will get our own private cabin.
