Manda Shae is a 1 bedroom 1 bath cabin that sleeps up to 4 people.  This cabin would be great for a couple or small family.  The Manda Shae is waterfront and has spectacular views.  The Manda Shae is located on Log Country Cove property and is managed by Log Country Cove, with 20+ years of 5 star hospitality in the Kingsland Area.  This cabin can sleep up to 4 guests with great views of the lake.   PLEASE NOTE: this cabin is a duplex unit with the Rica Shae.  Non-motorized items included in your stay.

  I’ve always longed to find a “ cabin in the woods” as a vacation spot and managed to find a few but none of them compared to our find at “ Log County Cove”. First of all the careful detail that went into the architecture of the solid rustic construction of the building left me speechless. We slept like a rock in one of the most comfortable beds that I have had the pleasure to rest upon.The cabin was clean and the rest of the property was clearly well maintained. The room temperature was perfect. The lake and the beach area as well as all of the rest of the amenities were within feet of our cabin. The staff was professional friendly and accommodating.
  I highly recommend this place to anyone who needs to get out of the city for a few days. This is the perfect hideaway. I gave it five stars.⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

  The eating area is very small. There were decorations on the narrow peninsula, on the table, and lots of pillows on the bed. We needed to remove all these decorations for us to eat. No place for it. Very crowded. Refrigerator in bad location. Wish we were told to bring trash bags

  We had a great time in a beautiful setting. Rita's & Rhythm was especially nice on Sunday. I thought $244 for one night was a bit pricey not to have coffee in the room but we were able to get some coffee in the office, so no big problem. The staff is friendly and the accommodations were very clean. We would definitely like to come back so if you ever have 'specials' where it's less than $244 per night, please let us know, meanwhile I'll check your website every now and then.   Cabin has everything you need plus an amazing view over of the water. I have two complaints. Neither one impacted a large portion of our stay but they could. We shared a wall with the cabin next door. We could hear everything that the neighbors next door were doing. It wasn’t an issue during the day because we were out on the property but it was annoying during the morning when we were trying to sleep in. Second is when we went to bed the outside light of the cabin next door shined through our windows even with the blinds closed. It kept us up for 20 mins until the people next door went to bed.

  We loved the Manda Shae cabin, so cute, clean and cozy and the master bed was so comfortable. Only down fall was the noise of the split cabin. We went to bed with a screaming child and that child also woke us up at 6:54am the next morning. Next time we prefer to stay in a solo cabin.

  The place is so great for families! Until night time, when you can hear everyone's parties/gatherings while your kids are trying to sleep. We stayed in a duplex (Manda Shae) with paper thin walls, which didn't help. We'll be coming back though, once our kids are older and the weather is warmer (with some earplugs)! Absolutely beautiful. And our cabin was very clean and functional.

  I can not wait to get back to the Cove. We had an amazing time; only wish were had more there! We loved our cabin! Very nicely decorated, very clean, and equipped with what you need. The resort is definitely a place of serenity! great fishing, boating and other fun water activity opportunities! We laughed at each other because wanted to take our king size bed home:-)! It was very comfortable. My husband being an ex pro-football lineman was really impressed with the comfort of the bed. We can't wait to return! The staff were very kind if ever you had questions. Such beautiful sunsets! Easy & quick access to stores and restaurants if needed. We have traveled to many cabin resorts; this is by far the nicest! Also love the winery!

  Great experience! Our family stay was absolutely wonderful. We purposely scheduled our vacation during the week in hopes of being less crowded. It exceeded our expectations and we had a wonderful time! There was a handful of other people staying and felt we had the whole cove to ourselves. There’s plenty to do swimming, canoeing, hiking , mini golf, etc. Cabins were on par and no complaints. We will be bragging about our stay and will return. —ps. the staff was excellent!!!   First time staying here, and won't be the last! We stayed at the Manda Shae for a family camping trip and it was PERFECT. Beautifully clean area with space for all our family members. It was quiet and cool inside! We loved the location right on the water, and enjoyed all the amenities, including the water trampoline and putt putt golfing! We also enjoyed the rentals, including stand up paddle boarding and the golf cart rental. Will be back for sure!

  Our family has been coming to Log Country Cove for about 14 years. We’ve stayed at several different cabins depending on the number in our party. We’ve never been disappointed with any of the cabins. We love the “log” cabins, the grounds are beautiful, the fishing is fun, the fireworks on July 4th were spectacular. The people in the office are always nice. This is our second time to stay in the Manda Shae since there was only 3 of us and it was perfect! Beautiful setting on LBJ Lake!

  We had the best spring break ever here. The place is very nice, clean, and well,thought through. The only complaint is about the bbq pit. It is more like fire ring. Very uncomfortable to grill anything. Other than that, the location is great. Two state parks just a short drive away. And the fishing was amazing! Got several good sized crappies in the river right by the house. Will definitely recommend this place.

  It was relaxing. We would not choose a cabin with stairs next time. It would also have been helpful to have a place downstairs to hang our clothes. Faucet repair was needed in the bathtub and shower head. The kitchen floor was not clean.

  Everything about the cabin was perfect except for the bed and the upstairs futon. The king bed was so hard we were physically sore after the first night. It needs a foam topper or mattress cover. The futon wasn’t much better even though we were using it as a couch to watch dvds in the evening. The mattress needs to be replaced - sags and hard as a rock.
  
  Otherwise we had everything we needed and we love the area, grounds, and staff. We will be back but probably not to this cabin unless they update the mattresses.
