Maegan Breann

About

Maegan Breann is a waterfront cabin located on Lake LBJ.  The Meagan is a one bedroom/loft cabin.  The bedroom opens to a balcony that overlooks the lake.  There is a king bed in the loft and a sleeper sofa in the living room.  This log home is managed by Log Country Cove, with 20+ years of 5 star hospitality in the Kingsland area.  Non-motorized items included in your stay.

  We were there Labor Day Weekend 2023. Our family had a very good experience over all , and would recommend others to stay here . The resort is beautiful.,and We love the access to our boats right outside the cabins .We stayed in the Meagan, and the cabin was nice , but a bit dirty upstairs on the porch , the Couch downstairs was ripping , and Futon was ok ,but hard to sleep on . I wish there was a light of some kind at the main entrance to the resort , it’s very dark at night and hard to find . We Love the family friendly amenities.

  Very nice place to visit. The ONLY suggestion I can make to the owners is to distinguish each house with better markers (signs with names of each house). Would stay again at any time.

  We had a wonderful, relaxing stay in the Meagan Breann. Clean, comfortable cabin right on the water and next to the commons area. The only negative was the only bathroom was located downstairs with the bedroom upstairs. It was a minor inconvenience and wouldn’t prevent us from staying there again. It’s a Gorgeous property! Well manicured, with lots of places to sit and enjoy the view or play games and enjoy the various activities if you wish. There are lots of things to do for families with children and would be a fun place in the summer! We walked the hiking trail (can’t remember the name) and got lost even with the map. The trail isn’t marked well the further you go, so be prepared. It’s a beautiful, wooded area with some low water creek type areas. We did enjoy several resting spots along the way, especially a large log bench swing! It’s a very long distance, so be prepared to be tired when you return! The staff was welcoming, friendly and helpful. We ate dinner at a recommended Mexican restaurant in Kingsland and also drove over to Marble Falls and had a wonderful lunch and pie at the Blue Bonnet Cafe. Both delicious and we recommend! Overall, we had a wonderful, relaxing stay and plan to return!

  The reason we gave less than 5 stars is because the jacuzzi tub did not work and there was an unsightly substance in the bottom of the shower that we needed to cover up.
  
  It looked like they tried to seal a crack in the tub, but the sealant wasn't applied very well and there was hair stuck in it.
  
  Other than that, beautiful location on the property. Cabin was gorgeous, except for the two items above.

  The cabin is nice , cozy, clean and has nice water front view through window. You can walk around other cabins and the common water front area. I sat there for the sunset reading. There was firework at the night cross the water and from the guests in near by cabin. Quite beautiful. The host was very nice. I interacted with Sean, Gary and Mana, very nice people. It is family owned and operated.

  My family and I LOVE this place! Beautiful rustic log cabins placed perfectly in front of beautiful lake LBJ, centered around a a plethora of the most beautiful Oak trees you've ever seen and a recreational area with volley ball, mini gulf, swing sets, paddle boards canoes and so much more!
  Log Country Cove is fun for the whole family. My husband I also enjoy how incredibly romantic the property is. There is so much to see and do here. We love this place so much we chose to get married at the venue Cedar skies. Log Country Cove has a large enough cabin to house our family and closest friends for the whole weekend. I cant say enough nice things about this place. We look forward to our yearly visits.

  We enjoyed this little cabin with a great water view and almost constant gentle breeze. Kitchen and bath are tiny, but well stocked and very clean. Spent most of our time out on the decks anyway. Customer service was great and check-in and out was a breeze. The fun waterfront area, sports and play areas and hiking trails make this the perfect spot for our large family reunion. We will return in June and enjoy three of the larger houses, each with a pool and game room!

  We went for a wedding weekend. And wanted a small cabin near everyone and the main house where the reception was held. We had the best time! The cabin was ok, it’s dated and , could use a little TLC. The location for the wedding was perfect for when you have a lot of out of town guests that you want close to the festivities. The large. cabin with the pool, was the “ hang out” spot for everyone.

  Loved the area and activities available. Did not realize there was not a bathroom on same floor as bedroom. We are both a little older so we had to be careful going up and down stairs for restroom requirements.

  My husband, two kids and I stayed for 2 nights and absolutely loved it! It was waterfront so we had a nice view. We enjoyed eating dinner and enjoying the view from the deck. We took a dip in the lake and my kids love the rope swing. The cabin itself was clean and very cute. The little soap holder in the dishwasher was broken, but aside from that everything was good. We had a chance to meet the owners and they were very kind. We would definitely visit again.

  I surprised my wife with this trip and we were not disappointed! We did not use the on-site amenities however we noticed they had plenty to offer. We swam in the river and had a great view from our cabin. The cabin itself was dated and was showing its age in high use areas however it was extremely clean and cozy. We loved our stay here and are already looking to bring back the entire extended family for a longer trip.

  My boyfriend and I were looking for a campsite that wouldn’t be too crowded because of the whole COVID pandemic and this was the perfect place! We stayed in the Maegan cabin and it was so cute! What originally brought me here was the longhorn cavern cave tour which was also a super cool experience and log country cove was one of the nearby places to stay. I had no idea there would also be an abundance of things to do at log country cove as well. We rode our bikes, grilled out, rented a jet ski, and floated in the lake. Another thing I really enjoyed was the Kingsland coffee place about 5-10 minutes up the road. It was located in the cutest little town which also had the original Texas chainsaw massacre house that’s been turned into a restaurant/bar and serves wonderful food! I would recommend this place to anyone and will definitely be back!
